The purpose behind the Campaign
The Gallipoli campaign was designed for two main reasons. The first reason was for the British to capture the Ottoman Empire Capital and the second reasons was for the British to secure a trading route with Russia by gaining control over the 67 km Gallipoli peninsula. If the British they secured their trading route with Russia they would be able to give them many supplies such as Ammunition, food, first aid etc. This would then hopefully make the allies victorious in the war and stop the German and Austria-Hungary force on the western front.

Anzac spirit
The Anzac Spirit also known as the Anzac legend is a concept which suggests that New Zealand and Australia both shared characteristics, specially both starting in WW1. Some of the characteristics are good humour, courage, ingenuity, endurance etc. Anzac stands for Australia New Zealand Army corps but at first it stranded for a man who served at Gallipoli. The first Anzac day was conducted on the 25th of April 1915 and every year it is celebrated again to remember all the soldiers lost in the war not just Gallipoli, Australians still invoke in the Anzac spirit in time or hardship, conflict and danger.
